Donated by Jeanette Neibert
Helen Neibert passed away in 1996. While getting the house ready to sell, her daughter Jeanette found a box with 2 complete sets of 50 embroidered quilt blocks; each block illustrated a state name and flower. Certainly they were intended for quilts.
Jeanette found a quiltter, Carolyn Sherman, who agreed to put two quilts together - one for Jeanettte, and one for her sister. Jeanette remembers how her mom volunteered her free time all her life, and loved helping others. Possessing the same desires and wanting to help Family Promise build communities and strengthen lives, Jeanette donated her quilt so that the circle of giving would reain unbroken. Jeanette attends Abundant Life Fellowship in Elma.
